Favorite/best DISNEY movie ever?

Discussion in 'General Discussion' started by Jessie Summers, Apr 20, 2017.

  1. So truth be told, I'm a huge Disney movie fanatic, there literally isn't a Disney movie I can remember watching where I'm not completely into the script, and a big pile of crying mush by the end of the movie! It certainly brings out the kid in all of us!!!!!

I'm sure many of the bunnies are huge Disney girls too, and watching a movie with them might earn you bonus points guys!!!!

What is your favorite Disney movie ever? I can't decide between Beauty and the Beast or the Lion King! Both so good for different emotional reasons!

Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, and of course Alice In Wonderland.
My childhood favorite was Lady and the Tramp. I would always listen to the Read Along Book and Record.

All time favorite would have to be Belle from Beauty and the Beast...she was beautiful, smart, kind and loved her family. My kind of girl.

Beauty and the Beast ... tale as old as time!
I have always identified with Beast... just looking for his Beauty!
  8. My answer has its reasons.
I love TANGLED, the Repunzel story.
But that's because I discovered that everything I thought I knew was wrong (as I was in a religious cult) and the very entity that I was supposed to blindly trust (sometimes the leadership was actually called "Mother") was truly the biggest liar/problem and I was niave about the world outside and assumed it was the enemy. So except for the long hair, I lived it.

Beauty and the Beast is my all-time favorite (I relate very much to Belle). Mary Poppins is close second! I love Toy Story, Tangled, Inside Out, Brave, Hercules, and Peter Pan. Alice In Wonderland is pretty good, too.

I love Anastasia, but it's not a Disney movie (surprisingly!).

Disney movies I can't watch because they are too sad: Fox and the Hound, Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Dumbo.

Oh I love Disney movies, its really hard to pick a favorite.

My favorite Disney "princess" would have to be Belle, when I was growing up we had a cat and we named her Belle.

But I like the villains in Disney as much the heroes. My favorite villain is Archdeacon Claude Frollo from the Hunchback of Notre Dame. His song Hellfire, which when I was 9 when i first watched it flew right over my head.but its super dark. It's about Frollo's lustful obsession over Esmeralda. take a look

  21. I don't think I've seen the movie, but I used to have the read along book and tape of lady and the tramp, also. I would listen to that tape over and over. I still find myself singing "We are Siamese if you please...we are Siamese if you don't please." lol

  25. I have 3 videos related to Disney.
First, I list the scariest moments from Disney Movies.

This one about the Night on Bald Mountain segment of Fantasia (1940).

This one is probably my best one, about the making of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937)
