One Too Many In Carson City!
Although Carson City is a rather quiet town with very little crime, it doesn't mean we don't have our fair share of miscreants.
Case in point: this amusing story from the CC police blotter ---
Officers arrived and noticed a green Dodge truck parked in the middle of both the southbound and northbound travel lanes. Officers made contact with the man and could smell a strong odor of alcohol coming from his breath. Officers asked the man if he knew where he was at. The man replied: "I'm parked at the Bunny Ranch," the arrest report states.
The officer told the man he was not parked at the Bunny Ranch and was, instead, parked in the middle of the roadway blocking both lanes of travel. The man said, "No, I am not. I'm at the Bunny Ranch." The officer asked the man for his driver's license. The man was confused while trying to locate his license, the arresting deputy observed.
The officer attempted six sobriety tests where the man could not maintain his balance without assistance. The man told the arresting officer: "I'm sorry, I'm really buzzed."
Anyway, words to the wise - please don't drink and drive, or you may be spending the night with smelly drunk cellmates instead of a hot Bunny!
F AFLAC!
Gilbert Gottfried has been called the "Comedian's comedian", and for good reason, as there is little he won't make a joke about. You might have heard he was fired from AFLAC insurance for making jokes after the Japanese Tsunami in 2011. Gilbert was the voice of the AFLAC duck.
Working a weekend at Catch A Rising Star in Reno, Gilbert was kind enough to pay us a visit at The BunnyRanch! Although known for his on-stage screechy nasally voice, in person, Gilbert is rather soft-spoken and extremely polite. So polite he was happy to sit with Dennis and Bunnies for a group shot!
Gilbert even took time to take numerous selfies with girls and employees. Afterwards Gilbert had lunch at our new restaurant across the highway from The Bunnyranch. Thanks Gilbert for the visit...and yes, F Aflac!
Z For Zmuda
Again we would like to mention Bob Zmuda's new book on Andy Kaufman, called "The Truth, Finally". It's the final word on comedian/performance artist Andy Kaufman, and has some amazing revelations to learn, including is Andy really dead, and if not, when he might be coming back. (Now that would make news!)
"Of course Andy and I had a friendship going back to the early days of The BunnyRanch, especially when he loved wrestling women," says Dennis, "And the book mentions us quite often. It's a great read and worth your time!"
