Hanging lights are a nice way to brighten the room. Also, personal touches like what you enjoy having in your own home. On that note, I need to pick up some fresh flowers!

 

Yes I have some lights coming, Im even having my own poster made to be put in my room

 

You prefer achromatics. You might want to consider a more sleek and modern look to your room. Contrasts in shape, patterns, and textures would also fit most of your outfit selections.

The trick will be not to make your room cold and uninviting. Splashes is colors as well as placement of objects and art will be helpful.
