I just finished "Detective's Choice book 1". It is a choose your own adventure type novel that you can download on your cell phone from the app store. The app is called Delight Games Library. There is currently 45 books converted into choose your adventures on the app. Detective's choice book 1 was about a 1930s detective who helps people with occult issues. It was a fun read. The client thinks she is the target of black magic and is next to die out of her co workers. So you have to save her and find the murderer.
Yes! I have read all the books and seen all the TV episodes. Since you know of him, I am guessing that you are too?

I am a huge fantasy and Sci-Fi fan. I'm currently rereading for the umpteenth time The Half Blood Price which is my favorite Harry Potter book. Yes I am a huge Harry potter nerd!
I'm not reading it yet, but I am anxiously awaiting "I'll be Gone in the Dark" - One woman's obsessive search for the Golden State Killer - by Michelle McNamara (I preordered it). It should be out any day now. It's a true unsolved crime story of the search for a serial rapist/murderer who terrorized Sacramento, California before branching out to Stockton, Modesto, Davis, the Bay Area, then Southern California. In just over a decade (70s - 80s) the Golden State Killer (aka the East Area Rapist and tbe Original Night Stalker) commtted 50 terrifying home invasion rapes before comitting 10 sadistic murders. Preview reviews by noted authors have been excellent and it is hoped the book will help bring GSK to justice. I know some of the victims, intended victims, witnesses, and investigators in this case and was interviewed by Michelle, amongst hundreds of others. Sadly, the book was not quite finished when Michelle passed, but was completed by her lead investigator. Introduction Gillian Flynn, afterword by Patton Oswald (Michelle's husband).
There's a movie coming out March 30, 2018 that was based on a 2011 novel. I didn't realize it was based on a novel until the second trailer for it came out in December 2017. I had to get the novel and I read it in five days. That novel is Ready Player One. If you like anything 80's, pop culture references, video games, sci fi, VR, whatever the future could hold, you'll most likely enjoy this novel. Couldn't put it down. It was phenomenal.
My favorite format is book, however hebing an iPad make it way too convenient to keep my hundreds upon hundreds of books organized without taking up space
Then you should come to Worldcon in San Jose this August! https://www.worldcon76.org Sent from my Pixel using Tapatalk
I was at "Checkpoint Charlie" when I was attending the "Venus Film Festival" (Oscars for Porn for Europe - It's bigger than our AVN Awards in Las Vegas). Checkpoint Charlie is a museum with lot's of historical photos on the wall. I bought a piece of the "Wall" and a huge umbrella for my friend. I had an amazing experience!!!
