I just finished reading John Dies at the End, and it is MUCH better than the movie. Can't wait to start the next book in the series.

Awesome thread, guys. I'm currently trying to work my way through various books on Stoic philosophy which I'm loving. I also just picked up...
"Not Caring What Other People Think is a Superpower: Insights From a Heavyweight Boxer." By Ed Latimore.

You can also read some Stoic philosophy on this site, but I'm in agreement with the majority that good ol' fashioned BOOKS are where it's at.

I'm reading the book "Overcharged: Why Americans pay too much for Healthcare".

 

Hmmm I think I could probably sum that up in a thought, but I'll try to keep it to myself.

Just started "Fear" by Bob Woodward - already interesting and appalling.

 

Thank you to all that have shared with us their's.

 

"Fear" is really quite scary. Any author without the credentials of Bob Woodward would struggle to be believed describing the Trump mad, er. I mean, White House.

My favorite book is a series of 3 books called The Enchanted Forest. If you like fiction then you might like these funny and cute series.

 

Had to read Pleasure Unbound by Larissa Lone .

 

I'm reading the new Saks 5th Ave wish book.

 

I just finished "Dragon's Code" by Gigi McCaffrey, the latest Pern novel. Gigi did a good job of getting her mother's voice right.

Started reading The Gulag Archipelago Vol. 1- Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn. Picked up Hitler in Hell - Martin van Creveld. Will be reading both.

Just about finished up the second to last book in The Dark Tower series by Stephen King. Plan on rolling thru the last book and then doing a reread of the Dresden Files series. The Dresden files are a series of books following a snarky wizard private investigator who goes about solving mysteries involving vampires, werewolves, and other dark fantasy creatures. I'd wholly recommend it!

 

I liked The Dark Tower series. I believe I listed that on here before. I'm happy to hear that you enjoyed it too @Nh49 .
