What does everyone think of all these new Disney remakes that are coming out? Can you really beat a classic? Thoughts? Also what was your favorite Disney movies growing up? -Pure heart with a dirty mind, Randy Ryder
I thought is one was actually a good one! I really felt like it was a beautiful remake and they did a good job! -Pure heart with a dirty mind, Randy Ryder
Anyone see this? I don't think I ever saw the original.... -Pure heart with a dirty mind, Randy Ryder
I’m interested in this one because it’s not a word-for-word remake and has different stuff. If you decide to watch the 1940 animated classic, be prepared to have Every single emotion happen. You will cry at the sad parts, and cheer out loud at the awesome parts.
I think it's different nothing will ever replace the cartoons but the Mulan trailer looks really good. I also think Disney is doing something different. I don't know if you heard but The Little Mermaid remake Ariel is going to be Black which is really cool and controversial. My question is why couldn't Ariel have been Black in the cartoon but they are starting to bring more diversity into their movies tv and cartoons which is really cool. The first movie I ever saw at the Drive in was The Jungle Book but I really liked Tron Legacy.
Yes, It looks so real! Have you seen the trailer where it shows the original and the new one side by side. So crazy! -Pure heart with a dirty mind, Randy Ryder
Does anyone remember the original cover artwork where they looked like penis' lol! -Pure heart with a dirty mind, Randy Ryder
Have you seen the trailer for Lady And The Tramp live action coming to Disney Plus? That is one of my childhood favorite cartoons! Can't wait to see it.
I love it, I grew up on Disney from cartoons all the way to when they bought the rights to growing pains
If Disney must remake every animated movie into live action, then they really gotta do Black Cauldron.
I like that idea! It would be really cool if Eric is played by a white actor. Now that is a really cool spin.
Do you remember this in the movie? He had an erection! They tried to say it was his knee. Disney has lots of images that were put in their films. This was a big deal when Who Framed Roger Rabbit came out on VHS and Laser Disc! Jessica Rabbit isn't wearing underware after a car crash!
I remember the animated version of Dumbo. I would watch it with my mom when I was little. There is a scene in the movie where Dumbos mom is in chains and they are about to take her away. But before she leaves she nurtures and cradles Dumbo one last time with her truck. Cried like a baby when I first saw that lol! I thought that was just heart breaking!
Lets hope the final product turns out good for Lady and the Tramp. The Little Mermaid is also childhood favorite of mine.
The original was better, funnier, and more family friendly. If the original is not broke don't fix it.
I’m nervous for Little Mermaid! Those are some big shoes to fill! -Pure heart with a dirty mind, Randy Ryder
The original Dumbo had characters getting drunk and racism in it. I'm betting that isn't in the live-action version, which I haven't seen. I really like the live-action Cinderella you mention, very good acting and script. Not to date myself too much but I remember the original animated Sleeping Beauty. I'll never forget when the evil Queen transforms into that dragon to fight the prince.
