  1. Thanks to all who have shown interest in making the Livestream Appreciation Party happen! Since there were no apparent red flags over the suggested date ranges, please vote for all the date ranges that would work for you.

If you can only make it to one, vote for that one.
If you can make it to all of them but prefer one, please vote for all four.

Poll will close in two weeks, so please spread the word to anyone who may be interested in attending. We'll land on a range with the highest chance of participation and then try to get Madam Suzette's blessing for a specific weekend.

  2. MrDude,
Even though I'm within driving distance of the Bunny Ranch, I'm a disable person who doesn't care for long distance driving by myself. The only problem is that I live in a rural part of Northern CA. I'll be out the way for the few board members who live 2-3.5 hours away from me.

  3. @MrDude , thanks again for running w/ @Jessie Summers ' idea... as mentioned already, I'm biased towards Late Summer/Early Fall as that's my realistic target for a Ranch Run. The hot, dry weather is starting to taper off and the cul-de-sac will be wild for Street Vibrations' weekend (end-of-September) ; however, if a July or a Spring date maximizes participation, so be it.

  4. I'd be flying from the beautiful Pacific Northwest, so there's not much I can do to help out. I don't really know where other board members live, but you might be able to find someone kind enough to go out of their way to pick you up. Or you could meet someone in the middle and carpool the rest of the way. If you can get yourself to the NV border you might be able to get a ranch driver to take you the rest of the way with a wonderful lady to keep you company.

  5. I'm bias towards the moderate weather of Spring/Fall myself, but I'm letting the chips fall where they may. I think I'd have to give July the tiebreaker in a close vote because that's what Kiteh would prefer and she's the belle of the ball.

"Come feel the warm embrace of Kiteh's LAP"

  6. This sounds like it is going to be a blast.

  7. Bump back to page 1. Please vote and help build momentum for this party!

  8. As well as frequent mentions in Livestream chat with the ladies! :)

  9. Just curious, what does a LAP consist of?

  10. I think the two main goals of the "Livestream Appreciation Party" are to 1) provide an annual date for Livestream guests to target for a ranch visit & 2) give us an annual opportunity to show Kiteh our appreciation for all the behind-the-scenes work she does to put on the weekly shows.

As for what it consists of, the sky is the limit! I'm a ranch noob, so there's a great deal I don't know about what makes for a "successful" ranch event. I'm very open to input or advice on how to get this party from idea to reality. Below is a re-paste of some of the original ideas for the party from the old thread, but more ideas are welcome & encouraged.
    • @Kiteh Kawasaki™ gets a throne where we bring presents to lay at her feet in appreciation.
    • Attendees chip in cash too a pool and @Kiteh Kawasaki™ gets to do a reverse-lineup to pick her date for the night.
    • Annual awards for Best Host, Best Chat Host and Best Commenters
    • Allow parties in the Livestream Studio, with optional souvenir video. (Possibly joint Exhibitionist/Voyeur parties in adjoining rooms?)

  11. A few other party ideas with a week left of voting:
    • Other Awards: Best Screencap, Best Livestream Outfit, Best Swear Jar Violation
    • Screencap slideshow with music (a la cheesy high school graduation videos)
    • "Know Your Girl" Dating Game style gameshow where the questions and answers originate from old livestream interviews

Great ideas, MrDude! Depending on how many of us there are, I wonder if we should start thinking of a place to stay & eat (Gold Dust West/Fandango?). Maybe put out feelers to see if there's interest in group non-ranch activities (Gasp! Heresy!), since some of us will probably fly in for a few days, and there will be a range of familiarity with the area.

  13. We probably need to nail down a date to get a good head count, and we need a good head count to get a lodging discount, but I like where your head is at.

I'd be down for non-ranch activities, but I have limited familiarity with the area. So if you want to run with the idea I'd encourage it. They could also serve as plug-and-play outdates (that trip to Virginia City during the crawl looked like tons of fun). Off the top of my head: gun range, mini golf, bowling, gambling?

I'm visiting the ranches in a few weeks and thought that might be a good time to get Madam Suzette on board with the idea. Anyone know the best way to set up a meeting? Or if that's even the proper thing to do?

  14. If I'm going to attend this in 2019, it likely would have to be the weekend of July 24th (Wednesday) to July 30th (Tuesday). I do have tentative plans of visiting that weekend. Both finances (I'll need time to build up my accounts) and work load (I'm busy from mid-August on), make my options limited

  15. Julyish seems to be leading right now, so it's very possible we could aim for July 26th or 27th for the 1st Annual LAP.

  16. I would be ALL IN for July 27th (this also would be the Bunny Ranch Livestream night - a Saturday - so perfect). Selfishly, I have potential plans for my birthday on Friday, July 26th that would potentially have be in Mound House, but with different plans than attending a Livestream party

Re: Madam Suzette, that would be the proper thing to do and the ladies themselves would know more about that—perhaps at one of their midweek tea parties?

  18. You can email [email protected] and if it is ok with you, I can volunteer to be ranch liason and you can tell that to Madam Suzette too.

    I think this a a FANTASTIC idea!

  19. You guys get your guest list together. We have discounts available for lodging at both Gold Dust West and The Marriottt Fandango.

You can drive, get rental cars or utilize our drivers or any combination thereof.

If it is in the Summer, you guys can BBQ or hold a pool party in conjunction too. And you can prepare dishes at our bungalow or ask us to throw some things together.

I can arrange for DJ Red and Karaoke when you know the dates.

  20. With the legendary @Air Force Amy onboard as liason, LAP just got some real “muscle.” Thank you, AFA...and, way to go, @MrDude !

  21. I love how this is coming together, would be happy to help and/or arrange (assuming it's a date I can work with) however I can! Me thinks Jessie would definitely have to come out of summer hiding for this one LOL

  22. Me thinks this will be great for my first ever ranch trip.

  23. I agree, who also thinks that we would need to plan get together's at all four houses to show our appreciation? It would be a blast!

@Jessie Summers - Once we firm up on a date, I definitely think we should keep eyes on what the other houses are planning in terms of events or parties and see if our LAP weekend would mesh with any of them. Karaoke at LRN on Friday nights comes to mind. I've never been through the door at Kit Kat, so I'd want to fix that this trip. :)

  26. Agree! Ideally would be great to di a Wednesday through Saturday visit for all the different livestream nights, but that's a long time in town for some of us so up for discussion

  27. Wow, this shit is suddenly blowing up!

@Air Force Amy, thank you very much for your offer and we'd love for you to be our ranch liaison! I can't think of anyone who would be better! I'll email Madam Suzette later today and CC you.

@Jessie Summers, thanks for offering to help (and again thanks for the idea for the party)! I think the best thing you could do right now is to start recruiting people for a July 27th party. If anyone knows of a conflict at the ranches for July 27th, 2019 please speak up now. Even if some other date range magically takes a huge lead over the next 6 days, a solid list of guests will definitely trump a speculative forum vote. To start the list you can mark me down as "Attending". Hopefully those of you who were rooting for a Fall date can cram 7 months of saving into 4 months.

My thoughts on a multi-day/multi-house party: Obviously this would be the dream, but my instinct is that reaching for the stars for the first party may risk it falling flat. It would be better to launch the idea with one awesome event rather than four so-so events. We could still plan to do unofficial parties at the other houses the nights before, maybe even crash the livestream studio to hype the Saturday event, but I think we should pack all the fun and excitement into one LAP rather than four LAPs. ;)

  28. I think it would also make for a whole than realistic goal of getting a good amount of board members there if we recruit from "inside out", meaning that for each mile a member lives away from Nevada, the chances of them making a party with a specific date less likely........doesn't mean the invite can't go out, but if a member is within driving distance (I'm thinking gLip and I believe Raz is as well??) their chances of attending are much greater than somebody that has to get time off work, plane tickets, hotel rooms, plans to party, etc etc etc. Kind of a common sense thing, but worth pointing out

  29. The only 'conflict' I know of that night, and who knows, maybe we could storm the party LOL, is the weekend birthday bash for @JuniperJones at Love Ranch North. I already had plans to attend, being it's my birthday weekend too (July 26th), and Juniper and I are close friends and birthday buddies! There's actually a fairly big shin-dig being planned at LRN for my fellow Leo Lioness!

Maybe have an informal brothel crawl Thurs-Fri to say hi & express appreciation? Maybe split it up so we visit one house Thurs and the other two on Friday?

Just gather at the bar (forewarning the house ahead of time so they don't have 8-10 guys in a row who politely decline lineups), meet & greet, have a drink.

Other non-brothel group activity possibilities/suggestions (or however few or many guys want to join)

    - The Virginia & Truckee tourist railroad does longer trips on weekends in the summer - from west side of Mound House to Virginia City & return, with a 3-hour stopover. $55/head. They also do shorter runs between VC and Gold Hill for about $15/person. Scenic and well-narrated.
    - Tahoe area - I'm a fan of Truckee, CA, personally. Great little town for shopping, strolling, and scenery (Donner Lake / Donner Summit)
    - Pig out at a casino buffet ($25/person at GSR when I was there in Dec)
    - National Auto Museum in Reno. If you love cars & history, great place.

  31. I agree. I think we need to do both wholesale and retail marketing. So since you know board members better than I, can you handle the retail side (i.e. talking directly to "high chance" potential guests) and I'll keep working on the wholesale side (i.e. flyers, word of mouth, etc)?

I think an informal crawl the days beforehand is a great idea. We can aim to pre-party each house before their respective livestream night to ply them with drinks and make for a more interesting show. Then maybe we can follow them back to the house karaoke.
All those non-brothel ideas sound cool and area-specific. Maybe we can create a menu of possible activities and then narrow it down/pick specific ones once we have a more concrete list of guests?

  32. I'd hate to rain on Juniper's parade, but I love the idea of crashing LRN for her birthday as an after-party. Maybe 4-6pm: Bunny Ranch Pool Party/BBQ, 6-7PM: Special Edition Livestream, 7-10PM: Livestream Appreciation Party, 10PM+: Juniper's Birthday Party?
