my favorite dish is meatloaf and beans. when i take myself out on dates [yeah, i'm weird], i tend to lean toward Mexican food and i've always wanted to be passed down a tamale recipe along with being taught how to cook them, for the first time.
Taking yourself out on dates is a great idea! I've done this before, too. I think it is a wonderful practice of self-love.
My favorite food I discovered while hiking in Spain. I came into this little mountain village and had a vegetarian lasagna. No, I'm not vegetarian but I always try to sample something new in these situations. It was the most heavenly, melt in your mouth thing that I've ever had. Sadly, I don't think I could ever find the place again.
The pizza at Showbiz Pizza - back in the early 80's, Rax drive-thru BBQ sandwiches in the late 80's, The chocolate pudding that used to be sold in big, Cool-Whip-sized tubs in the 70's, My mom's Chicken Rotini Alfredo, and her banana cream pie with thick graham cracker crust (mixed with melted butter) - ANY decade! . .
