I think you would like it very much, Miss Randy Ryder, lots of drama, action, and humor. The movie was made in the late 70's and early 80's. You can find the full thing on youtube, or any other streaming sites.
If anyone remembers on Saturday and Sunday nights there was on the local channels "The wonderful world of Disney", classic Disney cartoons and nature shows. My favorite nature movie was "Tale of Two Critters" it was the about the unlikely friendship of a black bear cub and a raccoon cub.
Twenty years ago a local classic rock radio station called y103 had a version of Aerosmith's song "Janie's Got a Gun", but called it "Bambi's Got A gun", it was hilarious. I tried looking for it on YouTube, but they don't have it.
I think the cast will make it great Halle Bailey from grownish as Ariel Melissa McCarthy is Ursula and Awkwafina is in it so it will be funny. Lin Manuel Miranda who is know for the Broadway hit Hamilton is writing the music. It will be different but I think it will be good.

I know a lot of the movie sets are getting crazy! I saw the making of the new Dark Chrystal and those are huge sets. So Toy story would be wild! They could film it at Toy Story land!lol
