Yeah, I used these, with a little elaboration, when called upon to woo a fair maiden at the Renaissance Faire. The queen was quite fond of making gentlemen participate in "wooing contests". The lady (usually a customer) would decide who was the best.

 

Of course the Queen loved to mess with us: "God's teeth, man, we tire of hearing the same wooing speech from you." Sometimes she'd throw her shoe . . .
