2. LOL.. Silver Fox in Tuxedo Shoots at Couple Who Interrupted

Dressed in formal attire, 64-year-old Paul J. Hunter allegedly opened fire on a couple who accidentally cockblocked him while receiving fellatio in Seattle’s Pioneer Square.

A formally attired older man with white hair and a gun is accused of opening fire on a Seattle couple after they interrupted him while receiving oral sex in a side-street alcove, authorities allege.

Dressed in black tie and carrying a license for a concealed semiautomatic weapon, Paul J. Hunter began shooting at the pair who stumbled upon him and his companion in Pioneer Square, according to charging papers filed by the King County Prosecutor’s Office.

“You’re dead, motherfuckers,” the rakish 64-year-old allegedly shouted before pulling the trigger. “You’re dead.”

The record states that Hunter and an unidentified woman stepped into an alcove near the 300 block of Fourth Avenue South around 2 a.m. on Aug. 26, at which point his date began to perform oral sex on him. Moments later, a man and woman embroiled in a loud argument turned the corner and came across the lovebirds.

The quibbling couple apparently spooked Hunter’s paramour, who bolted, leaving the well-dressed gentleman with his pants down and his blood boiling.

According to police, an enraged Hunter hitched up his tuxedo bottoms, drew his 9 mm Kel-Tec semiautomatic pistol and screamed that he would kill the cockblocking interlopers. He then fired a single shot. The couple cowered behind a parked car as police arrived on scene.

It didn’t take long for the officers to track down the tuxedoed suspect, whom they found walking nearby. Hunter had no criminal history and declined to make a statement to police. He was carrying just the bare essentials on his person: the pistol, $190 in cash, his concealed weapons permit and a comb.

Hunter faces second-degree assault charges and remains in King County Jail on $100,000 bail. It is not yet clear why he was dressed formally.

Re: SEX BUSINESS IN THE NEWS

We had it right but as of December it seems that will no longer be the case. Our Government is in the process of passing a bill that among other things will make it legal to sell sex but illegal to buy it. What that basically means is 3 things.

1 It means if you had a girl here she is almost completely immune from this law because it is legal to sell sex but a potential client like myself is absolutely going to jail because it will be illegal to buy sex someone needs to explain to me how that works.

    2. It means less work there are A LOT of women in this country that need work and making prostitution illegal eliminates countless jobs.

3 it kills my dream of seeing a Bunny Ranch Canada opened up.

Well we can hope this bill gets hung up and if not there is an election in 2015 maybe if the liberals get in they will do what they can to over turn the bill. What they can do I can't say that I know because I don't but hopefully they can do something.

Re: SEX BUSINESS IN THE NEWS

I wouldn't count on the bill getting hung up in committee and being tossed by the time the next election rolls around. The Harper gov has the will and ability to pass this before Dec.
and I doubt the NDP or Libs are willing to expend the political capital to make this an election issue. if the Libs or NDP get power, even then there might be a outside chance of them repealing the law but again, don't count on it.. Trudeau seems afraid of it
our best chance for decriminalized or legalized prostitution in Canada is yet another court challenge that will take years because it won't start at the SCC
in the meantime, it won't go away, and the sex workers and clients will have to adjust to the new laws... at least for the time being.

  16. Sexual Assault by Fraud Bill

New Jersey lawmaker introduces “sexual assault by fraud” bill[/b]

The law would criminalize acts of lying or coercion to get sex and treat them as rape cases

As cultural consciousness of sexual assault expands beyond the tableau of the armed stranger at the end of a dark alley, so too might its legal definition. A New Jersey lawmaker is pushing to change the state’s definition of rape to include fraudulent manipulation that results in sexual acts. Earlier this month, state assemblymember Trioy Singleton introduced a bill that would criminalize “sexual assault by fraud,” defined as “an act of sexual penetration to which a person has given consent because the actor has misrepresented the purpose of the act or has represented he is someone he is not.”

According to the Star-Ledger, Singleton’s bill was inspired by a woman who was coerced into paying her boyfriend, a serial scam artist, $5,000 under false pretenses:

Prosecutors had initially tried to charge [the man] with sexual assault by coercion, but a grand jury refused to indict him on that charge.

“I truly believe that we have to look at the issue of rape as more than sexual contact without consent,” Singleton said. “Fraud invalidates any semblance of consent just as forcible sexual contact does. This legislation is designed to provide our state’s judiciary with another tool to assess situations where this occurs and potentially provide a legal remedy to those circumstances.”

As written, the bill doesn’t consider sexual assault by fraud any less serious than other types of sexual assault that are already on the books. It could be a first degree or second degree crime depending on “the circumstances surrounding the act,” punishable with 10 to 20 years in prison in the former and 5 to 10 years in prison in the latter.

Critics of the bill have claimed that the current definition of “sexual assault by fraud” is too broad, and could result in prosecution of, say, people who tell their partners that they love them when they don’t. Singleton has said that he is open to refining the language of the bill in order to avoid such unintended consequences.

  19. Emeryville Brothel Arrests

2 Indicted on Federal Bribery Charges in Emeryville Brothel Case

Two men are facing federal bribery charges in connection with an East Bay brothel that investigators say was disguised as a massage parlor.
Jimmy Gong Yan Lee and Tom Kim Loi Lam were indicted on Tuesday by a federal grand jury on charges including giving bribes involving a federal program.

The two men are also facing state charges in the case.
Authorities say Lee co-owned Acucare Oriental Spa in Emeryville, which exploited young Asian women.

Lee and Loi, described in court documents as Lee's associate, are accused of bribing a police captain posing as a corrupt officer to try to prevent the business from being shut down. Loi is also accused of bribing a federal agent.

Calls to Lee and Loi's attorneys on Christmas Eve were not immediately returned.

  20. Married Victoria Secret “Cheer Mom” Caught Giving Student Oral Sex in Car

Going to be an awkward Christmas dinner for this family.

A 42-year-old Pennsylvania mom is facing multiple charges for allegedly having sex with a boy she met at a high school football game, where she was volunteering as a ‘cheer mom’.

Suburban housewife Iris Gibney, of Pottstown, is accused of having sex with the 17-year-old in her car after being sprung by police.

The two were illegally parked at Hollenbach Park on November 15 about 10.30pm, after the park was closed.

A passing officer stopped and approached the car, only to find the two naked inside, according to NBC Philadelphia.

Gibney was allegedly performing a sex act when the officer got to the car.

The two put their clothes on and got out of the car, with the officer noticing Gibney was significantly older than the male.

The student later admitted to police he met Gibney at a Pottsgrove High School football game earlier this year.

She was released on $50k bond, she is married with 3 kids and went back to work at her job at Victoria Secret after she was released.

  21. Bunny Ranch Owner Wants To Help Diplomacy With Cuba

Bunny Ranch Owner Wants To Help Diplomacy With Cuba By Opening Location In Havana

CARSON CITY, Nev., Dec. 18, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- With the historic announcement by The Obama Administration that The United States will begin easing long strained diplomatic relations with Cuba, Bunny Ranch owner Dennis Hof is vowing to bring his franchise of legalized prostitution to Havana.

"The Cuban people have suffered from government sanctions for generations, and the cultural awakening that its masses are about to experience would not be complete without the sexual empowerment for which The Bunny Ranch is known world wide," Hof said. "I have visited the Cuba many times, and I look forward to working with the Cuban government to enrich the lives of its people, not only with the recreational pleasures that The Bunny Ranch is known for, but also with the infusion of good jobs to an embattled economy."

While prostitution is currently only legal in The United States within some counties in Nevada, Hof has shown prior interest in taking the business nationwide, most recently offering the city of Phoenix a half a million dollars to let him operate temporarily during the 2015 Super Bowl. Now, Hof is looking to go global with the legal sex trade.

"I have always enjoyed a good cigar, and when I appeared on the cover of Smoke Magazine, they highlighted The Bunny Ranch's humidor. I would love to fill the humidor at our Havana location with Cuban cigars, and I would even welcome President Raul Castro to be my guest at the grand opening and smoke one with me in the parlor. If he wants to party with one or more of the girls, it would certainly be my treat. The Bunny Ranch has a long standing policy of free sex for heads of state, and President Castro certainly wouldn't be the first one to take me up on that offer."

Despite the goodwill gesture, Hof is quick to point out that he's still a patriot: "I won't allow any missile silos on The Bunny Ranch grounds," he quips.

With speaking engagements over the past few years at Oxford University in England, Trinity College in Ireland, and now Sorbonne University in Paris early next year, the star of HBO's hit series "Cathouse" is increasingly being noticed as a worldwide ambassador for legalizing the world's oldest profession.

  22. If Margaret Thatcher had her way, the British high street could have looked a lot different, notably the absence of mainstream lingerie and sex toy retailer Ann Summers.

New documents released by the National Archives reveal that when she was prime minister, Baroness Thatcher considered banning sex toys to protect “public decency” by using anti-pornography laws. The documents also show Thatcher met with Mary Whitehouse, the anti-obscenity campaigner, at least twice.

Among the concerns of Thatcher’s cabinet was the safety risk posed by sex toys.

“Some of the items in circulation are most objectionable, including some which can cause physical injury,” a note from then home secretary Leon Brittan read in 1986.

Brittan argued there was a “strong case” to bring sex toys under the “deprave and corrupt” test, which was part of the 1959 Obscene Publications Act. He also acknowledged the difficulty of banning “sex aids” with a law designed solely for pornography. The law was used to ban Lady Chatterley's Lover by D.H. Lawrence in 1960.

As Pink News points out, Thatcher was one of a few Conservative MPs to voted to decriminalize homosexuality in the 1960s, although it was under her government that Section 28, which banned “promoting” homosexuality, including through teaching about it in schools, was introduced. Section 28 was repealed in 2003.

Lord Brittan has recently been at the centre of allegations of a cover-up of a ring of high-profile paedophiles, including Westminster figures, during his time as home secretary. Two heads of an inquiry set up to investigate the claims have been forced to step down over their links to the establishment, particularly Lord Brittan. The scandal has rocked the British establishment, with allegations of abuse and even murder spread over the post-war period.

The National Archive release also shows Thatcher’s attitudes towards education, the behaviour of British football hooligans and advertising on the BBC. Thatcher considered overhauling the British education system, including making state schools independent of local authorities, the BBC reports.

Thatcher explored various ways to fund the BBC to keep up with the "extravagance of some of [its] spending". The BBC is funded by the British taxpayer, but Thatcher suggested introducing some advertising on "light music radio programmes".

The behaviour of British football supporters abroad and their image as hooligans was another concern of Thatcher's, particularly after the 1985 riot between fans of Millwall and Luton football clubs. Documents show that Thatcher held a secret meeting with John Smith, the chairman of Liverpool Football Club, who provided his insight.

The trove of documents also includes the government response to the bomb explosion at Brighton's Grand Hotel. Thatcher survived the 1984 blast that killed five people. She died in April 2013 after suffering a stroke at the age of 87.

  23. Hasbro to Replace Penis-Shaped Play-Doh Toy

Hasbro to Replace Penis-Shaped Play-Doh Toy

It was an embarrassing Christmas for Nivea Cabrera after she was accused by her fiance's mother of letting her 5-year-old granddaughter play with a sex toy. A mortified Carbrera asked the child where she got the penis-shaped plastic cylinder.

"It's from my Play-Doh," the girl replied.

Hasbro, the Pawtucket-based toy company, is now doing damage control over the extruder tool in its Play-Doh Cake Mountain toy. The two-piece syringe-like tool, which includes a tube with corkscrew-type ridges around the outside and a dome-shaped top with a hole at the tip, can be used to squeeze Play-Doh to look like decorative cake frosting.

Complaints have been surfacing since at least November, when Tulsa, Oklahoma, TV station KTUL showed the tool to parents and asked them what they thought. The station blurred the image of the tool during the piece, saying it was due to parents' reactions. One woman told the station it was "a pretty phallic cake-decorating piece."

After Christmas, comments started pouring in to Play-Doh's Facebook page, including from Cabrera, of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. She said Hasbro called her after she posted a photo of the tool and asked about the shape on Christmas Day. She said the company offered to send her a replacement tool in a different shape, which she has not received.

Erin Rivers, a mother of two from Melbourne, Florida, thought it was hilarious when she helped her 6-year-old daughter open the box.

"I pulled out this extruder tool, and I just started cracking up at it, I couldn't help it. Then I immediately put the Play-Doh in it and took a picture of," she said.

Then, she posted it on Facebook.

"My friends have just as dirty minds as I do," she said. "It was hysterical to me. And then I gave it my daughter to play with."

She said her daughter and 4-year-old son don't notice anything strange about the toy.

Hasbro Inc. has received thousands of comments on the Play-Doh Facebook page pointing out the obvious.

"We are in the process of updating all future Play-Doh products with a different tool," it said in a statement posted on the page Tuesday.

It also offered to replace the tool for anyone who has complaints.

Rivers, who works in a pediatric dental office, says she's not upset at all. But she is flabbergasted that the toy slipped past so many layers of people at Hasbro.

"They have to have someone who creates it, someone who makes the plastic mold, someone who plays with it," she said. "I can't imagine that as many people that probably saw the toy, not one person said, 'Does anyone else think this looks like a penis?'"

  24. BunnyRanch Brothel in Phoenix for SuperBowl

    http://www.abc15.com/news/state/will-ar ... owl-sunday

PHOENIX - With one month to go until the big game there are new questions about the possibility of a legal brothel in Arizona.

We're talking about the Bunny Ranch in Nevada. Owner Dennis Hof said even without a Super Bowl Sunday grand opening, he's not giving up.

"I need a new winter headquarters and Phoenix is going to be it," Hof said.

But there are plenty of people in our state who are pretty determined not to let a Bunny Ranch open here.

"First of all, it's illegal," Peggy Bilsten said.

She's been a voice for women here in the Valley for decades, and says if Hof thinks he can change the law here, he's got an uphill battle.

"To me, it's just horrific. It's a criminal industry that breeds all kinds of crimes," Bilsten said.

"They can't stop us," Hof said.

He said even though city and county leaders have made it clear they're not interested, he's determined to bring a Bunny Ranch to the Valley.

"The next step for me is to hire lobbyists and a team of attorneys," Hof said.

His plan is to change the law and make prostitution legal. Bilsten said “good luck.”

"Our community feels very strongly about the issue of prostituted women and children. We don't believe in it, we think it's a crime against humanity and we will not stand for it," she said.

  25. Prince Andrew Sex Case Claims

Prince Andrew sex case claim: Duke of York is named in underage 'sex slave' lawsuit over claims of forced sexual relations

A woman has alleged that she was repeatedly forced to have sexual relations with Prince Andrew as part of a lawsuit that claims an American investment banker passed her around rich and powerful friends as a “sex slave” while she was still underage. A Buckingham Palace spokesman has said the claims are “categorically untrue”.

The accusation was made in a lawsuit brought by women who say they were exploited by Jeffrey Epstein, an American multi-millionaire who was convicted of soliciting sex with an underage girl in 2008, reports the Guardian.

The woman filed the case anonymously, and is understood to have been 17 at the time, which is considered a minor under Florida law.

The prince is not a named party in the legal claim, and has not had any opportunity to respond to the allegations. He has previously denied any sexual contact with young women associated with Epstein or any knowledge of his behavior.

Buckingham Palace declined to comment on the allegations to The Independent. The palace can't give comment about an ongoing legal process, a spokesperson said.

"This relates to long-standing and ongoing civil proceedings in the United States, to which The Duke of York is not a party," a Buckingham Palace spokesman said. "As such we would not comment on the detail.

"However, for the avoidance of doubt, any suggestion of impropriety with underage minors is categorically untrue."

The case is directed towards federal prosecutors, and is part of an effort to expand an ongoing legal case, the Guardian reported. But it alleges that the woman “was forced to have sexual relations with this prince when she was a minor” in London, New York and on Epstein’s private Caribbean island, the Guardian reported.

Alan Dershowitz, a Harvard law professor and defense lawyer, is also named in the lawsuit. He told the Guardian that the allegations made against him were “totally false and made up”.

Prince Andrew’s friendship with Epstein, who was sentenced to 18 months in prison for soliciting paid sex with a 14-year-old girl and is now a registered sex offender, has been a source of problems before. The Duke of York stood down from his role as the UK’s special trade emissary in 2011, after his friendship with the banker provoked calls for him to step down.

The two men have known each other for years, often travelling together and staying at one another’s properties.

Epstein was sued recently by crisis management firm Sitrick & Co, which accused him of failing to pay fees to deal with the scandal over his friendship with Prince Andrew. The company said that he owed £65,000, the Daily Mail reported.

  26. Nevada may set same safety standards for adult film industry

Nevada may set same safety standards for adult film industry as for brothels

Nevada health officials said this week they are considering enforcing the same regulations required of sex workers in brothels on the adult film industry, which has steadily migrated to the state.

The statement was made after California health officials issued an alert on Monday because an adult film performer in September tested positive for HIV after having unprotected sex with other male actors during two separate film shoots in Nevada. He had tested negative before the shoot but developed symptoms later.

“This alert publicizes the first well-documented case of occupational HIV transmission among actors in the adult film industry, and makes recommendations for preventing HIV transmission during the production of adult films,” according to a statement by the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services. “The public health investigation and the laboratory results provide very strong evidence that one actor transmitted HIV to another actor as a result of unprotected sex during a film shoot.”

Nevada officials said that since California enacted stricter laws related to worker safety and communicable disease prevention in the adult film industry, there has been an increase in production of such filming in Nevada.

In 2012, the AIDS Healthcare Foundation supported and saw passage of Measure B, a Los Angeles County law that makes condoms mandatory on all adult film shoots, saying that performers deserve to be protected while working. The group is hoping to pass a similar law statewide to strengthen mandates under the state’s Occupational and Safety Health Administration.

But the Free Speech Coalition, a Canoga Park-based organization that represents the adult film industry, has said the testing protocols for sexually transmitted diseases are effective. On most sites, performers are tested every 14 days and are not supposed to work until they receive a clean bill of health. The industry also has said that condoms are impractical because they break and they ruin the aesthetics of sexual fantasy.

The shoot in Nevada occurred in September and is not an immediate threat, according to the Free Speech Coalition.

The group said when it had become aware that the actor might be infected, it called for a halt in production in September. The moratorium is voluntary, but the Free Speech Coalition said most production companies honor it.

While those on the Nevada shoot used HIV testing, it fell below the already established testing protocols, according to the Free Speech Coalition.

“Non-compliant shoots are one of the chief dangers of pushing the adult industry out of state, and outside the established testing protocol,” according to a Free Speech Coalition statement released this week. “Not only did this leave those who participated at risk, it made it much harder to track scene partners once the possible infection was discovered.”

Nevada’s workplace laws are similar to federal standards, which call for personal protective equipment, health officials there said.

In August, the AIDS Healthcare Foundation filed its first complaint in Nevada against a San Francisco production company that made an adult film in Las Vegas in June.

The film, made for a website run by Kink.com studios, allegedly shows images of performers engaging in activities that “are highly likely to spread blood-borne pathogens and other potentially infectious materials,” according to AHF.

An investigation is underway, Nevada health officials said.

Nevada’s health regulations on licensed brothels require “each patron to wear and use a latex prophylactic while engaging in sexual intercourse, oral-genital contact or any touching of the sexual organs or other intimate parts of a person.”

In addition, “the person in charge of a licensed house of prostitution shall post a health notice. ... The cost and mounting of the notice is the responsibility of the house of prostitution.”

Those in charge of the brothel have to report the presence of communicable diseases.

There are about two dozen legal brothels in Nevada.

“Agencies in Nevada and California have been working corroboratively to address this issue,” according to the statement by health officials from Nevada. “Nevada’s strict regulations of sex workers in brothels has resulted in no HIV transmissions in that setting. Nevada is determining if similar law is appropriate for the (adult film industry).”

  28. We don’t traditionally think of techies as sex-obsessed P-hounds. But apparently, when they get together, all they wanna do is engage in peer-to-peer transfers. That’s why the proprietors of Nevada brothels are having one of the biggest weeks of the year during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which is being held in Las Vegas Jan. 6-9.

“CES brings a lot of people. And, of course, when you bring tourists to Nevada, they all wanna get laid,” says Dennis Hof, the proprietor of seven brothels, including the Moonlite Bunny Ranch of HBO’s Cathouse fame. “I’m the legal alternative.”

Hof says business at his brothels increases by at least 50 percent during CES. Chuck Lee, the owner of Sheri’s Ranch in Pahrump, Nev., says he also sees “a steady increase in business,” with revenue spiking as much as 70 percent compared to a normal week.

“Most people don’t think of the tech industry community as having a ‘work hard, play hard’ mentality, but they most certainly do,” he told the Daily Dot via email. "Like stockbrokers or politicians, these individuals are in a high-stakes environment where the right move can change the course of history and yield billions; and the wrong move could spell financial disaster and end careers.

“Many entrepreneurs and innovators are compelled to visit sex workers, women who not only help them blow off steam but who also provide a non-judgmental environment where these clients can discreetly let loose their insecurities and frustrations," he added.

While prostitution is illegal in Clark County, Nev., where Las Vegas is located, it’s legal (albeit heavily regulated) in three counties in Nevada, including Nye County, the home of Sheri’s Ranch. Sheri’s is about 60 miles away from Las Vegas.

So what kind of illicit activities do CES attendees request at a brothel? Pretty much what you’d expect from any other patron, says Lee: “A CES visitor is as unique, or as commonplace, in their sexual proclivities as anyone else."

That said, there are a few trends that have emerged over the years. For instance, CES attendees tend to experiment more, “rather than just [requesting] vanilla half-and-half [half oral sex, half intercourse],” says Hof. “They’re into bondage, they’re into the discipline and all the different fetishes, from diapers to spanking and foot fetishes. It’s their time to get out and explore and try things they can’t try at home, that they’re embarrassed to ask their wives about.”

Over at Sheri’s Ranch, the brothel’s “roleplay suites,” which offer roleplay sessions with brothel workers featuring such themes as “sexy secretary” and “lusty ladies’ locker room.”

Lee surmises the popularity of such roleplay sessions has something to do with the power dynamics of Silicon Valley. “Maybe there’s a lot of office politics in the tech industry that creates a desire to relieve tension by pretending to ‘having your way’ with that intimidating CEO or project lead,” he says, adding, “Who wouldn’t want to have a fantasy threesome with Marissa Mayer and Sheryl Sandberg?”(I mean, lots of people, probably, but point taken, Chuck.)

Perhaps unsurprisingly, Hof says sexually inexperienced clients come out in full force during CES. “The tech industry brings people with not-good people skills. They sit around working on their computers,” he says. “It brings a lot of virgins. CES is a great time for virgins. You get all these gamers who have not had a sexual experience, so they come here and wanna try it out.”

Ultimately, however, it’s anyone’s guess what happens behind closed doors, because you know what they say: What happens at the Consumer Electronics Show, stays at the Consumer Electronics Show.

The word on the street -- or on the Internet at least -- is that plans are afoot to develop an erotic entertainment attraction on the island's Southwest Coast National Scenic Area.

After interest was aroused by details posted on the region's official website, however, the page was quickly taken down.

The park's administration director, Cheng Rong-fong, confirmed with CNN that the proposal is real, but he insists it's just a concept at this point.

"The ideal plan is to realize the proposal within this year if we can gain support from the local government," said Cheng.

Details of the plan, circulated by a user on Taiwan's popular PTT online bulletin board, outlined a "Taiwan Romantic Boulevard" sightseeing route with four zones stretching across three counties.

    'Silk road of love'

Tainan's Jingzaijiao Salt Farm is famous for its romantic sunset views.

Each stage has a different theme: "dating paradise," "scenic spot for wedding gowns," "silk road of love" and a proposed 10,000-meter-square "sex theme park."

The sex theme park -- or "Garden of Eden" as it's called in the proposal -- will be modeled after other erotic parks around the world including Jeju's Loveland in South Korea and Vigeland Park in Oslo, Norway.

Claiming to be educational, the park will serve as the final stop of the four-stage journey of love.

It'll be divided into different sections, covering topics including sex positions, unusual sex lives and sex toys.

"The dating paradise is perfect for those who are more than friends but aren't officially a couple yet," the proposal said.

Cheng said that the proposal shouldn't have been made public before being finalized, but insisted, if realized, that it will help regenerate a neglected area.

"The southwestern coast of Taiwan has been an important salt farm since the Qing Dynasty," he says.

"It has a unique background, culture and ecological value. Yet, a decade after it was declared a national scenic area, it still hasn't received much attention from tourists. So we thought to ourselves, is it time to try a new mode of thinking?

"The white powdery salt hill and salt farm have always emitted a romantic feeling for visitors coming to the area," said Cheng. "That's why we came up with the idea to be the first dating/wedding-themed park in Taiwan."

    'Too out of line'
The proposal generated heated debate online.

"This is the first time I find a government proposal interesting," said one online critic, according to Taiwan's Now News.

Another said: "We surpass Japan. The pride of Taiwan."

"This is too out of line," posted another. "And soon the government will start promoting sex tourism."

Beimen is so popular for wedding photos it has fake churches as backdrops

Chang Huang-chen, the deputy commissioner for Yunlin County, the sex park's proposed home, told the Taipei Times that the idea may not be suitable for traditional-minded locals.

Cheng said he'd received mostly supportive comments, but he welcomed different opinions.

"Sex has always been a taboo in Chinese society," he added. "But it's a part of our lives and a very natural thing -- why can't we discuss it openly and generously?"

Aside from the sex park, the rest of the proposal makes use of existing attractions.

"We're planning to add around 100 landmarks and installations to each of stage to enrich the experience," said Cheng.

The proposed route starts at the scenic six-story-high salt hill in Cigu County.

It then leads to Beimen, a place famous for its vibrant pre-wedding photo-shooting industry, where "churches" and dozens of other romantic landmarks are built for that purpose.

The third destination, Budai, is a fishing town in Chiayi.

The proposal calls it the right place to take your oath before heading to the sex theme park.

We always give back, but yesterday I found out a local newscaster got fired for a story he ran on the Bunnyranch and our new helicopter tours. Apparently I suffered a "nipple slip" during the filming, it was aired and he got fired! Oh NO, I feel so bad, but I guess he should have reviewed the tape before he aired it.

  33. Old People Still Having Sex

A new study from Manchester University shows that many elderly people stay sexually active into their 70s and even 80s, in case that was a thing you wanted to know. About 7,000 men and women in their 70s and 80s responded to the questionnaire, and the results were published in the Archives of Sexual Behavior.

More on their findings, via the press release:

More than half (54%) of men and almost a third (31%) of women over the age of 70 reported they were still sexually active, with a third of these men and women having frequent sex -- meaning at least twice a month -- according to data from the latest wave of the English Longitudinal Study of Ageing (ELSA).
Lead author David Lee said he hopes his findings "offer older people a reference against which they may relate their own experiences and expectations," as this is a population that tends to get overlooked when it comes to sexual health research. It's also kind of a way for us whippersnappers to peer into our potential sexual futures, which sure is ... something.
