Agreed @grizzly ! I will say that I am an outdoors person. I do very much enjoy hiking, especially in Lake Tahoe. It’s so beautiful there. Heaven on Earth.

I'm from West Texas, but every time I came to visit the ranches, I would spend the day hiking in Lake Tahoe! I agree heaven on earth

 

Huge difference from West Texas! It’s definitely nice to escape the heat and enjoy the cool weather.

I was just in SW Texas. I stayed on South Padre Island for a wedding. I don’t know if you’ve ever been, but it’s a fun little beach town worth checking out. Lots of bars and restaurants.

 

Yup went down to that neck of the woods, about a year ago, took mom! So nice having an ocean within 8 hours of you!

I am in the process of moving to Abilene,TX which is less desert lol

But I miss Carson City and Tahoe area!
